As a convenience to our customers, Hood River Supply offers In-House credit accounts backed by the cooperative. Our accounts are 30 day only and are due in full on the 10th of each month. You will automatically be signed up for our Ace Rewards program that will include you in discounts, coupon opportunities and reward point system.

Do I need to provide my SSN?

If you are applying as an individual we need your SSN and physical address to perform a credit check for eligibility verification.

How much should I request for my line of credit?

Most accounts start at $500; typically individual accounts will stay between $500-$700, while the business accounts range from $700-$1000. If you need more to start with, please provide an explanation of why: i.e. fuel account, machinery purchase, fencing, or large projects. Each year our CEO goes over each account and adjusts the credit limit based on overall sales, performance history, and payment status.

I opened an account three years ago, why isn't it still there?

If an account is inactive for more than two years, we will close it and eventually delete it for security purposes. At that point, you will need to reapply to verify secure payment of the account.

How do I make sure ex-employees don't try to charge on my account?

We request a list of authorized users, which is up to you to maintain, that will be able to charge on your account. If they are not on the account, they will not have permission to charge unless we received verification from an authorized manager from your company. You are only responsible for purchases made by your authorized signers. If you do not have list on file you are held liable for any and all charges, unless disputed within 30 days of your bill.

How do I pay my bill?

All statements are due by the 10th of each month. (Bulk fuel has additional options for discounted payments within 10 days of fuel delivery.) Payments can be made either by cash (register) or check (register or office). We do accept credit card payments with the following terms: (1) Credit numbers on file and statement cleared on the 18th of the month will be charged a handling fee of 1.25% of the statement balance. However, if Hood River Supply has an actual credit card on file or you pay your statement balance at the register on the 18th of each month, there will be no additional fee. (2) Statement payments made by credit card between the 28th and 10th of the month will  will be charged a handling fee of 2.0% of the statement balance. (Statement payments made by credit card after the 10th of the month will be charged a handling fee of 3.0% of the statement balance. (4) All past due amounts will be charged a 3.0%  handling fee, regardless of the date.

What is considered a business reference?

Business accounts are verified through contacting other companies for a credit check. Typically these are accounts that you hold a house credit with, compared to phone bills or rent. Banks and financial institutes typically do not provide timely or available information. Please be aware that your business account will not be approved until we have a minimum of three positive references. Informing these companies ahead of time will expedite the process.
